Growing Syrah, Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Mourvedre, Tempranillo, Mustcat Canelli, Viognier, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petite Verdot, and Grenache.

A ridge-top vineyard at 2,350 feet elevation. Excellent air drainage and sun exposure, featuring mountain-grown Aglianico, Charbono, Chardonnay, Merlot and Moutepulciano grapes.

Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre & Tempranillo planted from selected bud wood and rootstock suited to our granitic Rhone like soils. Three distinct micro climates at 2300’ in the FairPlay AVA with sustainable vineyard practices have been designed and managed to produce low yields for ultra premium wines.

Growing Zinfandel, Syrah, and Barbera.

Growing Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

Growing many award-winning varietals, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec.

Growing 1.5 acres of Petite Sirah at 2500 feet overlooking the South Fork of the American River. Crop is currently committed to Ursa Vineyards.

At 3,400 feet, this seven-acre, sunny hillside location, with its cool nights, produces quality fruit from French Gamay and Pinot Gris.

Growing Port Varietals including Tinto Cao, Touriga, Bastardo, Tinta Rouriz, Sauzao, and Tinta Amarella.

The vineyard is located along the Consumnes River nestled among the high canyon walls, it is south facing and steeply terraced. We are growing Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. We have joined forces with winemaker Bill Easton to produce a delicious Bordeaux styled wine. Our first vintage - 2006 was released in February 2009.

Located above the American River on fifty acres of well-drained granitic soils are premium Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Barbera, and Syrah. Award winning wines made at the winery.

68.8 acres. Boeger Winery leases eighteen acres Barbera. 1,600 feet, above fog, below snow. Harriette/George Ritchie owned/worked it before George died 10-93. EID.

Located at 2,200-2,400 feet along Cedar Creek in the Fair Play Appellation. Various microclimates produce high-quality, premium varietals with clonal character.

Growing Petite Sirah, Tempranillo and Sangiovese.

Lost Colt Vineyards grow premium wine grapes at the 2,300 foot elevation. Mountain-grown on the granitic soils are Syrah, Petite Sirah and Pinot Noir.

Naylor Farms, operating several vineyards near Fair Play (2,200 - 2,800 feet elevation), offer a wide range of variety/clone and site combinations for quality vintages.
 

Growing Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc in Placerville.

Warm, sunny rolling hills and terraced hillsides at the 2,500 foot level, daily summer breezes. Growing Merlot, Syrah, Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Sirah.

In the Eastern Highlands of California on Red Rock Ridge in the Heart of El Dorado, Pleasant Valley, we have four micro-climates. Each grape variety is planted in the most appropriate micro-climate to achieve the highest quality fruit.  We are in the process of converting to organic farming and are definitely a sustainable farming operation.  Our 35 years of farming grapes gives us Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot that have reached old vine status.  You are invited to sample our Red Rock Ridge Syrah, Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon and Reserve Merlot to experience the quality of our fruit.
