About the vineyard
Zinfandel and Petite Syrah Wine Grapes 20 year old vines to be harvested in Fall 2022. Vineyard is located in South El Dorado County at 2400 ft elevation with full southern exposure. 4 acres of Petite Syrah and 2 acres of Zinfandel. Petite Syrah is head pruned which results in lower yield but higher quality grapes. Dry famed most years but not all. Typical total yield: 14 - 19 tons. Vines cared for using organic and natural materials. Wine crafted from our grapes have won gold medals in county competitions.
