About the vineyard
Deaver Old Vine Zinfandel planted in 2003 and Alicante Bouchet planted in 2013.
The Zinfandel has received the Frank Herbert Memorial Award in 2010 ,2015 and 2017 as the best Zinfandel in the Eldorado Appellation. Numerous silver and gold medals to include 2013 California State Fair .
The vineyard produces rich, full bodied, jammy, fruit forward Zinfandel and deep red bold , extremely flavorful Alicante. We will be happy to provide references from local wineries.

"One of the rare red meat grape with dark red juice. Primarily used as a blending grape where color and tannin are needed. More and more wineries are offering Alicante Bouschet as a varietal.
Deep dark juice, inky and robust it easily rehabilitates any varietal it is blended with. We believe we have one of the few vineyards planted in El Dorado AVA. Please come see for yourself and sample the beautiful colors." |

Winning Double Gold and the Herbert Franklin Award as the best Zin vineyard in El Dorado and Fairplay Appellation in 2010, 2015 and 2017.
